EQUUS stars Sven Ruygrok as 17-year-old Alan Strang, a stable boy who has been arrested for blinding six horses with a metal spike; and Graham Hopkins as Dr Martin Dysart, a psychiatrist tasked with uncovering the motivation behind the brutal act. But the deeper Dr Dysart probes into Strang’s twisted world, the more he starts to question his own sanity and motivations. Various conflicts surrounding personal values, purpose, motivation and societal expectations are explored in this thought-provoking thriller.
