HEADS UP:
• Premium is calculated on the average utilisation of the credit limit in the billing cycle in line with legislation. This insurance covers your outstanding balance at the date of the claim event.
• It is a requirement to have a Credit Life insurance policy in order to operate an Edgars credit agreement.
• For continued insurance cover, please ensure that your account is paid in full on a monthly basis.
• Premiums for your insurance products are collected via payment on your retail account.
Waiting periods:
• No waiting period applies for death and disability benefits.
• A three-month waiting period applies for loss of income, retrenchment and disability.
